Eastern International University (EIU) was established with the mission of training high-quality human resources to effectively meet the urgent requirements of resources for sustainable socio-economic development in Vietnam. Binh Duong at the same time oriented to become a center for scientific research – application and technology transfer, as a driving force for socio-economic development for the southern key economic region and the whole country.
As one of the key players in the Triple Helix Model of innovation between government – industry – university in the development strategy of the Smart City and Binh Duong Innovation Region project, EIU has focused on building and developing its own ecosystem consisting of many units that are closely linked together to perform training and teaching tasks; scientific research; connect, serve the community; is a place that provides and attracts high-quality human resources, promotes creativity as well as a place for knowledge transfer, technology transfer, creating new values, promoting socio-economic development.
