Eastern International University (EIU) has embarked on new strategic partnerships with five enterprises of significant roles in Binh Duong province.
Under the agreement signed on May 6th, 2022, these five new strategic partners – Becamex Tokyu Vietnam Co., Ltd; Becamex Hospitality; Becamex International Hospital; My Phuoc Hospital; VNTT Solutions Co., Ltd (VNTTS) – and EIU plan to combine efforts to create synergy that can strengthen growth in the next phase.
The signing ceremony signified continued strategic cooperation between the University and Businesses in supporting and fostering innovation by bringing practical industry knowledge to EIU through teaching, learning and research activities, thus establishing a solid foundation to further improve the quality of teaching and learning of EIU lecturers and students. This also served as an opportunity for businesses to look back on their development process and promote their business identity within the community to attract more talent in the future.
Based on its extensive relations with many businesses, EIU believes that this is the right time to establish and strengthen strategic partnerships with businesses to further develop its capacity in innovation and entrepreneurship; foster the process of research – application – technology transfer and contribute to the development of human resources to meet the demand for a high-quality workforce in the context of our knowledge-based economy.
EIU was established by Becamex IDC in 2010 with the mission of training high-quality human resources that can effectively meet the urgent labour need for sustainable socio-economic development in the Southern Key Economic Region and the entire nation. After more than 10 years of development, EIU has contributed to the training and provision of qualified graduates with good professional knowledge and skills, fluency in English as well as confidence and readiness to work in competitive environments both in Vietnam and overseas.
To ensure the best learning and research environment for our students, EIU has built its an innovation ecosystem within the university, consisting of closely related units that are an integral part of the university. As a member of EIU, students will have the opportunity enjoy the values and benefits of such an ecosystem.
Furthermore, EIU takes great pride in our rate of 100% graduates achieving at least IELTS 6.0 before graduation. At EIU Language Center, students are trained in English with instructors who are 100% native speakers. The program helps students develop their English skills through well-researched teaching methods suitable for each study level with instructors who are always ready to support students throughout the learning process.
The main focus of EIU is on cooperating with businesses to create opportunities for students to participate in internships, practical training or doing projects with businesses. At the same time, EIU students are able to get access to various scholarship programs from businesses and communities within EIU’s network.
