EIU President Dr. Ngo Minh Duc emphasized: “The development of science and technology, together with the development of innovation ecosystems, will be an important strategy for the sustainable development of higher education institutions. “As a corporation-established university, EIU is particularly interested in interdisciplinary research collaborations and research projects focusing on solving real-world problems in the community and at businesses to serve the Binh Duong Smart City and Innovation Zone project, and surrounding areas. “EIU invests in many projects and research centers such as Advanced Production Center, and Industry 4.0 Innovation Center. The university also always wants to develop human resources for scientific research, which is a team of experts, lecturers, and students,” he said.
The conference consisted of three main parts: plenary session, report session of specialized sub-committees, and poster report session.
At the plenary session, the conference heard scientific reports by Dr. Nguyen Phuc Canh from University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, and Dr. Nguyen Dinh Vinh from Eastern International University.
Dr. Canh shared important and remarkable research contents about Multidisciplinary Research, including global changes and developments, issues facing Vietnam. He also predicted some future trends.
Dr. Vinh also presented his research on Machine Learning, a branch of artificial intelligence (AI). He highlighted the popularity and wide application of AI technology in many fields, especially in healthcare, tourism, social media, and agriculture.
The plenary session was followed with the other two sessions. At the end of the conference, the organizers selected the best nine research papers in the two sessions to win the EIUSCR 2022 awards.
EIUSRC 2022 was a forum for academic exchange and sharing of the latest scientific research, contributing to promote a community of scientists and experts to work on projects and feasibility studies to serve the development of EIU and Binh Duong province, as well as Vietnam. The conference also aimed to foster and improve the scientific research capacity of lecturers and students of EIU.
